Wizz Air planes make unscheduled landings in Budapest
Two Wizz Air flights made unscheduled landings at Budapest Airport on Monday. Both aircraft departed from Sofia, one on its way to Milan-Bergamo and the other to Tel Aviv.
According to Airportal.hu,
the pilots in both cases reported system feedback problems connected with the speed of the craft after take-off.
In the case of the Airbus A321 destined for Tel Aviv, an attempt was made to land in Belgrade before it was decided to land in Budapest. Later on, the Airbus A321 flight to Milan also aborted in Budapest.
Wizz Air told MTI that technical inspections of the planes were under way.
In Sofia, the temperature was minus 6 degrees amid snowfall.
