Third-wave will come if not enough people get the vaccine by March
A Hungarian virus researcher, Miklós Rusvai, said that to the Hungarian television channel RTL Klub.
According to 24.hu, Mr Rusvai said that the altogether number of the people already registered for the vaccine is around 600-700 thousand. Provided authorities manage to distribute the vaccine among them that would already be a huge step forward in the struggle against the virus. However, he added that the third wave of the virus would come in Hungary if they do not receive the vaccine until the end of March.
He highlighted that
as many people should be vaccinated and as soon as possible.Â
Interestingly, the process of vaccination takes about 30 minutes. That is because firstly, doctors ask the patient some questions about their health, and they have to fill an authorisation declaration, as well. Then they get the vaccine into their arm, followed by a short monitoring phase. Professionals have not experienced any significant side-effects yet.
