Das Fort liegt auf einem 60 Meter hohen H\u00fcgel, der von einem Plateau umgeben ist. L\u00e1szl\u00f3 IV. (12721290) schenkte die k\u00f6nigliche Burg dem Bischof von V\u00e1c, der im 15. Jahrhundert ein inneres Fort errichtete, das durch einen tiefen Deich vom Rest der Festung getrennt war.
