Budapest, 22. Oktober (MTI) \u2013 Am Samstagabend fand in Budapest ein Fackelmarsch zum Gedenken an den antisowjetischen Aufstand Ungarns im Jahr 1956 statt.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Eine Menschenmenge von mehreren tausend Menschen, viele davon mit Nationalflaggen, machte sich auf den Weg von der Technischen und Wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Universit\u00e4t Budapest, dem Ort, von dem am 22. Oktober 1956 revolution\u00e4re Demonstranten abreisten.<\/p>\n

Die Demonstranten machten Halt am Eternal Flame-Denkmal 1956 auf dem Nagy-Imre-Platz, wo der Budapester B\u00fcrgermeister Istv\u00e1n Tarl\u00f3s vor der Menge sprach.<\/p>\n

\u201cDie Flamme der Revolution muss von uns, den Erben der glorreichen Revolution\u00e4re, bewahrt werden\u201d, sagte Tarl\u00f3s.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201c1956 hatten die Ungarn kaum Waffen au\u00dfer ihrer Liebe zur Freiheit. Und solange sie von der Leidenschaft f\u00fcr die Freiheit angetrieben wird, stirbt die Hoffnung nie\u201d, f\u00fcgte der B\u00fcrgermeister hinzu.<\/p>\n

Der Marsch endete vor der J\u00f3zsef-Bem-Statue am Bem-J\u00f3zsef-Platz.<\/p>\n
