The common snapping turtle is a large freshwater turtle, noted for its combative disposition when out of the water. This characteristic makes it especially dangerous, hence the species is mostly kept in zoos. The residents of Pethőhenye, found in Zala County, were quite surprised to see one walking across street yestreday afternoon.

The necesarry measures have been carried out right away.
