Coronavirus – Almost 1,400 registered to use home quarantine monitoring app
So far 1,392 people have registered to use a smartphone application that can monitor compliance with home quarantine orders, a spokesman for the operative board coordinating Hungary’s response to the coronavirus epidemic said at a daily press briefing on Sunday.
Róbert Kiss said 910 of those registered are actively using the app. There are 11,934 people under house quarantine in Hungary at present, he added.

Fielding a question, Kiss said guest workers in the farm sector had been allowed entry into Hungary since May 7, and Romanian nationals had taken advantage of that opportunity in groups at all border crossings.
By midnight on Saturday, 601 such guest workers had entered Hungary in 109 groups, he added.
