“No Hungarian is alone,” Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said in a video posted on his Facebook page on Sunday.
Orbán noted in the video nationwide curfew restrictions in place from March 28 until April 11.
“For two weeks, all of us will stay at home, leaving only to go to work or to shop for basic necessities,” he said.
The video shows a compilation of Hungarians living in and outside of the country singing the lyrics of “Nélküled” (Without You), a hit by the popular Hungarian band Ismerős Arcok. Among the people in the video are the Italian Marco Rossi, the manager of the Hungarian national football team, appearing from Italy; and the national team’s captain, Balazs Dzudzsák, who appeared from the United Arab Emirates.
