Drones cause disruptions at Budapest airport
Liszt Ferenc International’s airspace was shut down for brief periods on Monday night and Tuesday night because of drones, operator Budapest Airport said on Wednesday.
Take-offs and landings were suspended for 23 minutes on Monday because of drones, and a pair of drones flew around the airport for more than an hour on Tuesday, causing interruptions and a 30-minute shutdown, Budapest Airport said.
Twenty-one flights were delayed as a result, it added.
