According to 24.hu, there is a page called DG MEME run by an anonymous EU bureaucrat. It is named so because the most important organs of EU administration are the so-called Directorates-General. Well, this site, which is mostly used to make jokes about the EU’s internal mechanisms, posted an image that was previously shared by the Hungarian prime minister – only with a little twist.
The joke in the picture is that Orbán brought some pálinka to the council meeting which contains 1.3 percent more alcohol. Just as much as the eastern member states wanted to fight for in proportion to GDP in a common seven-year budget.
