Evening Walks in August at the Debrecen Zoo
Just like last summer, this August holds unique experiences at the Debrecen Zoo since weekly Evening Walks will make a return as a prelude to Night at the Zoo. This time around, the ever-popular guided tour will also be available in English.
On these special occasions, visitors will get a chance to take a peek behind the scenes on custom guided tours, unraveling all the mysteries the Zoo holds, such as the secret night lives of animals.
The event will enable close encounters with various special animals, including the hand-raised baby-boom stars such as Beriszló the penguin hatchling and Daahir the baby giraffe.
Keepers also have in store a number of wild stories and fun facts for those interested – revealing, for instance, how hippopotamuses get their teeth cleaned.
This unique event is held each Friday in August (2, 9, 16 and 23), from 20:00 to 23:00.
