FinMin: Hungary made right decision to boost financial reserves
Hungary made the right decision to boost its financial reserves at the end of last year and lower its 2022 budget deficit target, Finance Minister Mihály Varga said on Friday.
The decision saved Hungary over 1,000 billion forints (EUR 2.7bn), he said on Facebook, adding that the country was now better prepared when it came to global economic risks.
Meanwhile, Varga said “we cannot allow Hungary to get dragged into this war.”
