Giant image built with over 160,000 LEGO bricks at Budapest university
A giant picture has been built with 169,416 LEGO bricks at Budapest’s Moholy-Nagy Arts University (MOME) and put on display at its main hall, the university said on Tuesday.
It took more than 300 hours for over 100 people to work the colour pop-art picture into a large mosaic, MOME said in a statement.
Designed by graphic art student Éva Szabó, the picture symbolises how the arts, design and sciences connect in multiple ways, the university said, adding that the structure weighs 150 kilos.
The picture can be viewed by the public until September 7.
