Government to give a lot of EU money to poor localities
The government is making 230 billion forints (EUR 627m) of European Union and state funding available for projects in underdeveloped localities, the finance minister said on Wednesday.
The money is for building social housing, improving roads and health care, Mihály Varga said on Facebook. The aim is to create jobs, invigorate local economies and narrow the gap between the regions, he added.
