Guardian reports on ‘Filthy Pride’: Marching for LGBTQ+ rights in Hungary
The Guardian reported on Budapest Pride in connection with Hungary’s peadophile law (frequently referred to as the “homophobic law”).
The law follows earlier restrictions by Viktor Orbán’s government on trans rights and adoption by gay parents. They interviewed Patrik and Zsolt, who think gay people are the latest scapegoats for the governing Fidesz party, but Budapest’s Pride parade is an opportunity to protest against the new laws and to rally support.
