House Speaker expresses sympathy over Turkey floods
House Speaker László Kövér has sent a letter of sympathy to his Turkish counterpart Mustafa Sentop concerning the recent floods in Turkey.
In his letter, sent to MTI late on Friday, Kövér said he had been deeply shocked to receive reports of the floods. He offered the Hungarian parliament’s sympathy to families of the victims and wished those injured
a speedy recovery.
So far, 27 people have died in the floods affecting Turkey’s Kastamonu, Sinop and Bartin provinces.
