Hungarian Ambassador to Mongolia presents Letter of Credence
Newly accredited Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary Borbála Anna Obrusánszky (Ph.D.) presented her credentials to President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga on December 16.
According to Monstame, this was followed by a meeting, where the parties discussed the expansion of the scope of cooperation in the arts and culture, education, sports, agriculture, water management and business sectors.
The President highlighted the significance of completing the project called “Biocombinat”, which is a 1,000 km irrigation pipeline along the railroad built in the Gobi region.
Marking the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties this year, the President and the Ambassador agreed that it will continue to be important to award Hungarian government scholarships to Mongolian students each year.
