Hungarian foreign minister to visit Washington on Tuesday
Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó will be the only European Union minister attending the signing of Israel’s agreements with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain on normalising diplomatic ties at the White House next Tuesday, the foreign ministry has said.
Szijjártó, who will be attending the ceremony at the invitation of US President Donald Trump, will also take part in several bilateral talks while in Washington, DC, including with the president’s senior advisor, Jared Kushner, the ministry’s press chief told MTI on Sunday.
Szijjártó on Saturday said Hungary will continue to support efforts to bring about peace in the Middle East and to advocate a fair approach to countries of the region by international organisations. In a Facebook entry, the minister said Israel’s agreements with the UAE and Bahrain were the second major development since the White House drafted its plan for stabilising the Middle East, demonstrating that the most recent American peace plan “is the best one yet” with the best chance of establishing peace in the region.

While opposition politicians paint yellow lines on the Korut the Government is playing with the big boys!
To be invited to this event is a sign of respect from America, Israel and the Arab world. And hopefully to increased trade.
Well done!
