Hungarian internet users’ propensity for digital solutions is the highest in the region, a survey conducted by market researcher Nielsen for consultancy EY shows.
The survey of more than 3,600 people in Hungary, Austria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia showed 71 percent of Hungarian internet users try to manage their day-to-day affairs online, compared to a 44 percent average for the region.
Around 72 percent of Hungarians use contactless banking card for payment, and about 33 percent have tried mobile payments.
