Hungarian win in K–1 200m in the Tokyo Paralympics!
Péter Pál Kiss’s medal is the seventh Hungarian gold from the Tokyo2020 Paralympics.
He competed in the KL1 Class. That is for those paracanoe paddlers who have very limited or no trunk function and no leg function. He won the World Championship in 2019 in Szeged and claimed the gold medal twice in the European Championships, index.hu reported.
The 18-year-old athlete is the youngest Paralympic champion of the field. His gold is the 14th of the Hungarian team in total and the seventh gold one.
