Minister presents proposals for govt support to Hungarians studying abroad
The body in charge of relaunching community life has proposed that the government should provide support to Hungarians studying abroad, the minister in charge of family affairs who heads the body said on Tuesday.
Katalin Novák told a press conference after a meeting of the body that representatives of the Hungarian Youth Association had proposed offering help to Hungarians who want to return home after studying abroad and get trainee positions in Hungary.
Under another proposal, support should be offered to Hungarians in the UK whom Brexit has deprived of the opportunity to take out student loan.
Novák said that thanks to the high vaccination rate in Hungary, the epidemiological situation in the country gives no reason for concern. Demand for vaccination has againt increased in the recent period, with many people registering for a third booster shot, she added.
