Minister: the government will fight against anti-Semitism!
Katalin Novák, Hungary’s minister for family affairs, highlighted the importance of the fight against anti-Semitism at a conference on the subject held in Malmö, Sweden, on Wednesday.
Â
Speaking to MTI on the sidelines of the conference, Novák noted the many Hungarian victims of the Holocaust and said that remembrance was “extremely important” for the Hungarian government. “Anti-Semitism is present, even here, in Sweden, and in many countries across Europe,” she said, and called for a continuous fight against its manifestations.
Â
Advocates of anti-Semitism must not be allowed to take decision making positions in Europe,
Â
she insisted.
