PM Orbán: Pope Francis said familes formed of “mother, father, child; full stop’
During his visit to Budapest, Pope Francis said that families are formed of “mother, father and child; full stop”, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán told public broadcaster Kossuth Rádió on Friday morning.
Orbán said that at their meeting on Sunday the pontiff called “Hungary’s fight to protect families” one of the most important efforts from the point of view of Europe’s future. Orbán said that as regards the issue of family, the pope was “straight and tough” in saying that the family cannot be relativised, insisting that families are formed of “mother, father and child; full stop”.
