Ship collision – Viking River Cruises CEO expresses condolences
Torstein Hagen, CEO of Viking River Cruises, has expressed his sympathies to the families of the victims of the ship collision in Budapest last Wednesday, when a sight-seeing boat collided with a river ship of the company and capsized, leaving nine dead and 19 missing.
“On behalf of all employees of Viking River Cruises, I would like to express my sincere condolences to all those involved in the accident. The tragedy has shaken us all deeply,” the statement said.
