Why on earth did the government allowed this building to be erected???? It is awful, does not suit beautiful Budapest and there is a building restriction– “No building in Budapest can stand at over 96 metres (314.9 ft) tall. This is thanks to regulations which restrict building height,” ??????…2017!!!
Shame on you to allow this monstrosity. The trouble will be, other multi-corporations will want to do the same–allow one allow all— and you will end up “little” Hong Kong .Where are you getting the 2500 people to work in this??? Hungarians or foreigners??? How come nobody objected to this????
I know, too late now. We just have to be sure they will not start something like this closer in the city, we have enough of wind-tunnels already by the much lower size buildings. We love Budapest, so do the tourists. please do not spoil it!!!!!
Totally agree, it totally doesn’t fit in such a historic place . It will be a hideous eyesore. This saddens me , as I am sure it does so many others.
It certainly is not suited fro this magnificent city. The precedent has far reaching consequences. I am surprised that Hungarians did not object.
I also agree whole heartedly. Don’t ruin this beautiful old historic city. Hungary has become popular for its old world charm and the architecture. Keep out the ugly steel and glass structures, PLEASE. They don’t belong,
I pray greed has not taken over but it seems so?
