Three Wizz Air planes stuck in Kyiv while the airport is being evacuated!
Based on information from Reuters, the authorities are currently evacuating the international airport of Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv. That is because the Russian armed forces are approaching the city quickly after they broke through the defence lines of the Ukrainian army.
According to 24.hu, the international airport cancelled all flights because of possible cyber and physical attacks. Planes that would land cannot enter the airport, either. One was headed to the Ukrainian capital from Tel-Aviv, another from Warsaw, but both turned back.
Based on FlightRadar24, the only foreign air carrier with aircraft on the ground is Wizz Air with 3 A320s (HA-LWY, HA-LPJ, HA-LPM). The Hungarian low-cost airline shared no further information about the issue yet.
