There is a waste disaster on River Tisza, the oceans, and almost in the center of Budapest, the Terebesi Forest: this is not the Balkans, it is the capital of Hungary – say the volunteers of the Waste Hunters initiative, a project that aims to eliminate such catastrophic situations.
For many years, trash and the hundreds of tons of illegally dumped waste have caused serious problems in the forest and its environment. According to previous information, the ownership of the area has been unsettled for years.
