(MTI) – The opening ceremony of the new wellness wing of the Rudas baths in central Budapest took place on Thursday. The one billion forint (EUR 3.22m) upgrade now completed includes a jacuzzi and panorama terrace gardens. At the mezzanine level a restaurant has been added which has access from street level. World’s First Water House Presented in Kecskemet by Hungarian Architect

(MTI) – The prototype of the world’s first allwater fluid house was presented to the industry in Kecskemet, central Hungary. Designed by Hungarian architect Matyas Gutai, the sustainable fluid house uses water insulation in thermal panels on all sides of the building. (MTI) – A record number of 49 facilities around Hungary have joined year’s Night of Baths event taking place on Friday, the organiser said. Hungary’s major thermal baths will be open to the public until midnight or later in Bukfurdo, Eger, Harkany, Hajduszoboszlo, Leanyfalu, Komarom, Mako, Sarvar, Siklos, Zalakaros and Miskolctapolca, the Hungarian Baths Association told MTI.
