Posh 5-star Pullman Budapest Hotel to open in the heart of the capital
Where one door closes, another opens. The iconic Hard Rock Hotel Budapest bids farewell to Hungary. However, the hotel will be rebranded as Pullman Budapest Hotel. On the 29th of February, Pullman Hotels & Resorts, Accor’s premium international hotel brand, announced the opening of its first hotel in the country.
Pullman Budapest Hotel
As turizmus.com writes, the grand opening of the Pullman Budapest Hotel is scheduled for the 27th of March. The building has seven floors and offers 136 elegant and comfortable rooms for guests. With its vibrant and chic ambience, the Pullman Hotel offers a distinctive blend of contemporary design, memorable encounters, and bespoke service. At every Pullman hotel, guests are enveloped in an inspiring atmosphere and breathtaking modern elegance right from the moment they step through the doors. Dilek Sezer, Senior Development Director of Accor South Eastern Europe, said in a statement:
Budapest is one of Europe’s most popular destinations, with a growing number of leisure and business travellers. This makes it the perfect location for our Pullman brand, which has a history dating back more than 150 years and is now attracting a new generation of digital nomads, millennial world travellers and business travellers.
The location of the new hotel will be exquisite:
A charming location
The modern architecture and contemporary interior design of the formerly known Hard Rock Hotel Budapest make the Pullman Budapest Hotel a new landmark in the city. Nestled in the vibrant 6th district of Terézváros, the Pullman Budapest Hotel enjoys an enviable location at the heart of the city, providing effortless access to its rich cultural, entertainment, and business hubs.
The hotel is located on the Broadway of Pest, in NagymezĹ‘ Street which is home to many theatres and clubs. In addition, the Pullman Budapest Hotel is a stone’s throw away from the National Opera House. Moreover, it is extremely close to the iconic Andrássy Avenue, a UNESCO World Heritage site, also known as Budapest‘s bustling Grand Boulevard. This neighbourhood attracts a diverse array of visitors for shopping, sightseeing, business meetings, and gastronomic delights.
A special experience
While the sophisticated rooms and the appealing location of the hotel will surely win many people’s hearts, Pullman Budapest Hotel has even more to offer. It also offers free fitness equipment: available on request for all rooms and suites. Therefore, guests can work out at their own pace, in the privacy and comfort of their room. Moreover, two conference rooms are also at the disposal of business travellers.
The food, beverage and entertainment concept of Pullman Budapest is created and implemented by the highly experienced Paris Society. Paris Society’s bold Renaissance approach combines culinary art, architecture and unique venues. Guests can enjoy a culinary selection in the hotel’s restaurant with 70 indoor and a further 30 undercover seats. The 280-squaremetre rooftop lounge is the perfect place for enjoying the magnificent view with a selection of exclusive signature cocktails, superb wines and snacks.
Bálint Erdei, Owner & CEO of RedWOOD Holding Budapest, said:
This partnership offers a fantastic opportunity to combine our local expertise with Accor’s international standards. We are confident that this exceptional hotel in the heart of Budapest will set a new benchmark for hospitality experiences in the city.
