New Wizz Air flights to Porto
Starting with September 4, Wizz Air is launching two new flights, on Wednesdays and Sundays, between Budapest and Porto, origo.hu reports.
Wizz Air introduced direct flights between Lisbon and Budapest last March, and Portugal soon became a favourite destination for business or recreational travels. Moreover, flights between the two capitals, operated by the Portuguese airline TAP, have been suspended in April, thus making Wizz Air the only airline with flights to Portugal.
Porto became a Wizz Air destination from Warsaw in May, and from September on, flights from Budapest will be available as well. Tickets will be the cheapest on the day of the first launch; later, one-way tickets will be around HUF 18-21,000 (EUR 57-67).
Porto is one of Europe’s oldest and most charismatic cities, famous for its architecture, romantic atmosphere, and city centre, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In 2016, Wizz Air has announced 10 new flights from Budapest to Nice, Baden-Baden, ReykjavÃk, Liverpool, Ibiza, Bucharest, Sofia, Porto, and two to the Canary Islands, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.
