Fidesz mulls 10 pc energy price cut for businesses
Budapest, January 8 (MTI) – The establishment of a national non-profit utility provider this year raises the curtain for a reduction in company energy bills, a lawmaker of ruling Fidesz said on Thursday.
The reduction will be an extension to the scheme to cut household utility bills, Szilard Nemeth told a press conference. A cut of around 10 percent is feasible, he said.
“Companies with access to cheaper energy boost the country’s economy,” he added.
Household bills have been cut by over 20 percent since the start of 2013.
