Balassi Institute said, at the end of 2013, Attila Suba, a Hungarian blues singer formed the band “SoulFool”. Delving into the forgotten jazz, blues classics and even some New Orleans swing, they charm their audience with their unique energetic and dynamic style. This young band embraces songs from legends such as Louis Armstrong, Lou Rawls, Ray Charles, Otis Redding and Wilson Pickett and gives them their own fresh twist.
In 2014, they came up with their fresh album called “It’s SoulFood” which contains 6 unique songs representing the best sounds of New Orleans legacy. It’s a young formation but in the last year they played in 100 club concerts and even a dozens of festivals in Hungary and all around.
Their style, mixing the jazz and blues with swing and gospel tunes makes the great mixture for a nice event!
