Coronavirus – Hungary donates protective equipment to North Macedonia
The Hungarian government has donated 100,000 face masks and 5,000 pieces of protective clothing to North Macedonia to help that country fight against the novel coronavirus epidemic, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said in Skopje on Monday.
Szijjártó said that Hungary has purchased a production line from China to make masks, adding that mass production would start soon.
Assistance to the western Balkans region is crucial because “if they weaken they cannot effectively withstand the pressure of migration”, Szijjártó said.
As we wrote yesterday, a batch of medical supplies, part of which donated by the Bank of China, has arrived in Budapest from China Saturday, details HERE.
