Coronavirus – Vaccination of teachers starts in Hungary
The coronavirus vaccination of over 162,000 school and kindergarten teachers who registered by March 24 started at over 400 locations on Thursday, the government website koronavirus.gov.hu said.
The priority vaccination drive will be carried out with the Pfizer vaccine on Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week and next week, the website said.
The website added that immunity against the infection significantly increases already after the first shot.
By March 29, nearly 215,000 teachers and vocational education staff registered for vaccination.
