Fire kills one at Budapest hospital
One person died of injuries sustained in a fire in Budapest’s St Margit hospital, the official website of the police said on Tuesday.
The fire erupted early in the morning on Tuesday, police.hu said.
Furniture combusted in an 8sqm area of which the police have evacuated two people, the website said.
One of them died later on Tuesday, it said.
The storey where the fire erupted was evacuated, and firefighters extinguished the fire before it could spread to other wards, the national disaster management authority said earlier.
