Vaccinated Slovak, Hungarian citizens can cross border freely
Slovak and Hungarian citizens vaccinated against coronavirus can from Wednesday travel freely between the two countries, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said on Facebook.
The decision, he said, was made after intensive talks with Slovak officials, ensuring that “families, friends and communities can get together once again”.
On Tuesday afternoon, their efforts were crowned with success, with Slovaks officially signaling their agreement so vaccinated would be free to travel between the two countries from Wednesday, the minister said.
