Guest nights up 70.3 pc yr/yr in Sept
The number of guest nights at commercial accommodations in Hungary rose by an annual 70.3 percent to 1,881,000 in September, driven by a surge in the number of foreign visitors, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Tuesday.

The number of guest nights spent by domestic travellers was up by 18.9 percent at 1,153,000, and the number spent by foreign visitors jumped by 440.1 percent to 729,000 — from a low base in September 2020 when strict pandemic restrictions were in force.
