Tattoo-diet

The expression “tattoo-diet” sounds weird, doesn’t it? What does it mean and how can it be related to tattoos or diets? It feels like we missed everything, and the world has already entered a new era. But so far we didn’t turn into characters from Philip K. Dick’s novel, and everything is way simpler than it seems.
Vean Tattoo shared recommendations on how to heal a tattoo in a correct and efficient way. When we talk about a “tattoo-diet”, we don’t mean a tattoo session or a piece of salad a day. Spoilers, never do that! Don’t come to a tattoo session hungry. This is important! Tattooing itself creates enough stress for your body, and if you will be hungry during the session, most probably it will be really hard for you to sit through it all. In order for everything to go smoothly both for you and for the tattoo master, you need to be ready to do some things before the session, and, of course, after it. This is because the healing process is no less of importance than the tattooing process itself.
We are living in the world of conscious consumption. It is important to prepare your body for a transformation, especially now, when caring about your health is highly relevant.
1. Either a party, or a tattoo session.
Yes, we are talking about alcohol. Please, try to time your party in a way that it won’t end on the day of a tattoo appointment. Alcohol consumption before the tattoo session boosts blood thinning, which leads to excessive bleeding. As a result, the master will see their work worse, so the preciceness of the lines and their quality will be affected as well. Moreover, lots of blood can possibly dilute the ink, and the tattoo will turn out to be not as colourful as it was originally planned. And the cherry on top, which also serves as a full stop in the alcohol part – the healing process. Alcohol weakens our immunity system, which means that the regeneration process will slow down and will have complications. This will affect the final result of a healed work.
2. In case you don’t take enough omega-3, this is the time to start! In this article we won’t describe how amazing the fatty acids, which are affecting our bodies in such a benefitial way, are, but we will note that they help to maintain the skin’s elasticity. This is quite important when we are talking about a good tattoo. That’s why you should introduce omega-3 into your diet.
3. Vitamins A, C and E are your loyal companions in the tattoo world. These vitamins are crucial for a healthy skin, and they help to heal the wounds. They will strengthen your immune system, stimulate cell growth and regeneration.
Your body reacts to a tattoo like to a fresh wound. The more surface the tattoo takes, the more resource your body requires for regeneration. The best you can do for your body this time is to take care and to help it to go through the healing process. For example, by sticking to a balanced diet, which is rich in vitamins and minerals. Then your tattoo will be healing nicely, and your tattoo master won’t be terrified by the amount of correction they have to do.
Caring about your body is a “long-term game”, which is definitely worth it. The cumulative effect will certainly make you happy, as well as the new tattoos on your healthy and beautiful body. Vean Tattoo belives in this balance.
