Giant canvas by Salvador Dalì in Palace of Arts (Művészetek Palotája)
The Hungarian News Agency (MTI) said, the members of Italian Finzi Pasca modern circus troupe extracted the largest original canvas Salvador Dali in the Palace of Arts (Művészetek Palotája – Budapest) at the Festival Theatre. The image of the troupe are visible during the La Verita production between 15th and 21st of November
According to Palace of Arts “La Verità is everything we have ever dreamed, experienced and created, everything that is preserved by our memories.” The Compagnia Finzi Pasca production entitled La Verità (“The Truth”) was written and directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca the same man responsible for Cirque de Soleil’s extraordinarily successful Corteo, as well as the three most recent productions by Cirque Éloize.
Incorporating acrobatics, theatrical elements, dance and music, this spectacular show features 13 acrobats before the backdrop of a giant canvas by Salvador Dalì, which the artist painted in New York in the 1940s for the ballet Mad Tristan. A series of pictures guides us through surrealism, a love story and a reflection of The Truth, all of which combine to create the colourful whole that is the latest production by the Compagnia Finzi Pasca. La Verità is an acrobatic and bizarre tale of heroism bearing the hallmarks of the strikingly unique outlook of its creators.
