Hungarian Software Developer Prezi Wins Tech Startup Award
Budapest, June 11 (MTI) – One of the most prominent European startup prizes, The Europas Awards, went to Hungarian software company Prezi on Tuesday, Prezi’s manager told MTI.
The presentation software company won in the category of Best Startup Founder or Co-Founders. Peter Arvai will meet British Prime Minister David Cameron on Wednesday evening, Prezi PR manager Csaba Faix added.
According to Mike Butcher, chairman of the jury “the founders not only built up a wonderful company culture, but also showed how a company can have 40 million users in such a short time. Such success stories are rarely to be found in Europe and we wanted to emphasise this great achievement with this award.”
