Mobile internet subscriptions up 1.9% m/m in August 2013
The number of mobile Internet subscriptions in Hungary increased by 1.9% m/m to 3.74mn in August 2013, the communications watchdog said. The growth eased from 3.5% m/m in July.
The number of subscriptions with data transfer rose 2.6% m/m to 2.84mn. The volume of transferred data went up 2.4% m/m to 2.55mn gigabytes in August.
In terms of market distribution, T-Mobile was still the market leader with a 46.58% share (down by 0.11pps m/m). Telenor came second with a share of 31.28%, up by 0.28pps m/m. Vodafone was third as its share increased by 0.17pps to 22.14% of all mobile Internet subscriptions at end-August.
