National Gallery’s Picasso exhibition attracts over 200,000
Budapest (MTI) – Over 200,000 people visited an exhibition of Pablo Picasso’s works, which closed on August 28 at the Hungarian National Gallery, the museum told MTI on Friday.
The four-month display, co-organised by the Musee National Picasso in Paris, has been the largest ever such exhibition in Hungary with some 100 paintings, drawings and sculpture by the artist, the Gallery said in its statement.
Another exhibition, of works by Modigliani and open till early October, has so far had 90,000 visitors, the statement said.
