Government: there will be no census in Hungary this year
It would have started from May 1, 2021, but the government decided to postpone it, so it will be organized after the 2022 general elections, between October 1 and November 28 of next year.
According to portfolio.hu, the relevant government decree appeared in the Friday Magyar Közlöny. Previous plans said that the questionnaire will be available online for everybody, even for foreigners. As a result, people can fulfil their legal obligation from the safety and convenience of their own home.
