Shocking: Internationally acknowledged, 46-year-old Hungarian virologist dies to suicide
A local news outlet wrote that Ferenc Jakab, an internationally recognised Hungarian virologist, and deputy rector of the University of Pécs, died to suicide due to private reasons.
According to Pécs Aktuál, both his family and friends were startled after hearing of the tragedy. Based on the information of the local news outlet, the university will provide a detailed necrologue only on Monday.
Mr Jakab was one of the symbols of the vaccination program in Hungary. His professional explanations and work helped many Hungarians survive that period. Furthermore, he lead the COVID-19 research team at the university.
Pécs Aktuál promised to updated their article the moment they know more about the tragic death of the young Hungarian professor.
Of course, conteo believers already have multiple explanation for Mr Jakab’s death, all connected to the COVID-19 pandemic and the vaccination campaign.
