Importantly, most pharmacies will also be closed in Hungary on 1 May, so those affected should make sure they have the medicines they need in advance. The only exceptions are pharmacies on duty, where patients are always admitted; you can find out how to reach them by consulting the pharmacy locator of the National Institute of Pharmacy and Nutrition (OGYÉI).

Small convenience stores may remain open depending on the decision of the owners. On Wednesday, petrol station shops will be open, as well as the non-stop Roni and Manna units in Budapest.
