If you want to go on a trip in Hungary, the Mátra is one of the best choices. The highest point of the country, the 1,024-metre-high Kékestető, is located in the Mátra Mountains. The Alcsút Arboretum is not far from Budapest. You can admire rare plants every day of the year. Due to the nature of the place, it is worth visiting in all seasons, as each season offers different, beautiful plants. One of the highlights of the arboretum is the snowdrops on more than two acres. If you do not want to climb a mountain or go to the waterfront, head to the Kiskunság National Park. It is the perfect choice with family, friends, alone or on a date. There are many educational trails and hiking trails to choose from. It holds excitement for both beginners and the advanced. There is no big difference in level, but you can also choose a hiking route of 4 to 130 km. Your journey will be accompanied by diverse wildlife. Many bird species nest in the Kiskunság National Park.
