A few dozen people protested for citizens’ rights in Budapest on Friday. The demonstrators marched from the 5th district Jozsef Nandor ter, touching two bridges, to the Parliament, origo.hu said.
Zoltan Buki, leader of the Civil Society for the Democratic Hungary said at his demonstration that their goal was to draw the government’s attention to consult with the citizens before making decisions. In front of the 30 gathered people, he said he would have demonstrated for their rights.
Zoltan Buki reminded: they were those who closed Chain Bridge (Lanchid) and Liberty Bridge (Szabadsaghid) to protest for a short time.
The demonstrators went on the Jozsef Attila utca- Karoly korut- Astoria- Kossuth Lajos utca- Szabad sajto ut- Erzsebet hid- Attila ut- Lanchid utca- Clark Adam ter- Lanchid- Akademia utca line to the Kossuth ter, where additional speeches were held in the presence of about 50 protesters.
