3 camps for adults in Hungary

If it is hard for you to just sit at a beach for a week, doing nothing, then you should think about signing up for a camp, suggests divany.hu. Horseback riding camp

The Akhal Teke farm in Ópusztaszer organises a 6-day-long camp for ages 12-60. Children and adults are both welcome to sign up, but they are also given a warning: be prepared to spend about two and a half hours in the saddle every day. They will have the horses on a longe line at first for new riders, they also teach you how to communicate with horses, and by the end of the week, the group will be able to go on a short trail ride on horseback. Campers will be housed in comfortable yurts, with full board and access to a hot shower.

Yoga camp

Refresh your body, mind and soul with a yoga camp. Leave the big city behind and take the time to relax and re-energise yourself. 

At the Sivanda yoga centre, you can choose a camp that is suitable for your level and the amount of time you have. They have one-week camps and weekend camps in Pilisszentlélek. The camp offers 2 healthy, vegetarian meals a day and unlimited tea. 

Date: every week until the middle of August, after that weekend camps until October

Price: the weekend camp costs 7,500 Ft/day (23 euros/day), the one-week camp is 52,500Ft/162 euros (or 44,450 Ft/ 137 euros if you are willing to sleep in a tent or their living room)

Sewing camp

If you like arts and crafts and want to learn something practical, check out this sewing camp. Have you ever needed to modify a dress, or have you ever had an idea in mind and would have been nice to make a dress exactly the way you imagined it? Well, now we have a place where you can learn all the techniques for these situations.

The community house in Pestszentimre is organising a sewing camp for newcomers; no experience is needed. They will teach you how to use a sewing machine, how to sew in a straight line, how to change a zipper or hem pants. 

Date: August 27-31, 9am-1pm
