Budapest’s Gozsdu Courtyard to host street music festival

Budapest, May 24 (MTI) – Popular Budapest venue Gozsdu Courtyard (Gozsdu Udvar) is to hold a street music festival between May 30 and June 20, organisers told MTI.

Events will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Gozsdu. Lesser known Hungarian musicians are invited to compete for a prize of 500,000 forints (EUR 1,625), which will be awarded based on ‘likes’ received from the audience for their videos on Gozsdu Courtyard’s Facebook page, organisers said.

The final will be held on June 20.

Musicians of all genres including rock, electronic, hip-hop, classical or experimental music as well as DJs are invited to apply.
