Flights from Budapest to Moscow every 3 hours

Flights leaving from Budapest seem to be increasing, as supported by this article about additional Budapest-London flights. According to turizmusonline.hu, Aeroflot, the leading Russian airline, is due to have flights from Budapest every 3 hours, seven days a week. This will mean 10% more available routes as well as 30% more connections.

Data from 2017 revealed that there was an 8.1% increase globally in the interest in air travel, compared to the previous year. In 2018, an increase in the number of passengers can be expected, too, with up to 7%.

In 2017, over 88 million passengers were passing through airports in Moscow, about 40 million of which were at the Sheremetyevo airport.

The news about Aeroflot scheduled to have flights from Budapest to Moscow every 3 hours means an additional 360 thousand available seats connecting the two cities.

The 4rth daily Aeroflot flight is expected to leave at 16:35.

The changes are supposed to bring about 10% more available routes for passengers and 30% more connections from the Russian capital.

These mostly include Far-East destinations such as India, Thailand, Japan or South Korea. There will be three connections available daily to Beijing, Shanghai, Vietnam or even Tokio.

Taking into account the airline’s network, Aeroflot caters to over 60 countries with over 300 destinations, together with its partners. In 2017, they had almost 33 million passengers. When including the Aeroflot Group’s affiliated companies, this number rises to 50 million passengers.

The idea with the additional flight is to attract more passengers who are travelling to the Far East. Destinations like Japan, Thailand, Vietnam or China are in an attainable distance from the Sheremetyevo airport.

It may also be important to know that the Russian airline has its own flight school.

As an airline, they are unique in the sense that their flight attendants change their uniform design every six months – in the winter, they wear deep blue while in the summer, they wear red.

The new flight is also supposed to be able to cater to any culinary wish. It will be possible to order from a 17-item-long menu, and the staff will be able to help anyone with any food sensitivities or religious food restrictions.

The Hungarian airport will welcome a ‘passenger pier’, CargoCity’s project has started, and new shops opened up in the Skycourt area. There are plans to build a multi-storied car park, and the VIP-service is on its way of being fully developed, too. This year, a new hotel near the airport has already been opened.
