Central Europe’s biggest wellness centre to be built in Hungary
The biggest touristic investment will take place next year in Zalacsány, where, next to Hungary’s biggest golf course centre, the biggest wellness centre would be built out of 77 billion Hungarian Forints (232 million Euros).
According to magyarepitok.hu, Zala Springs Golf Resort is planning a huge investment next year: a luxurious hotel, apartments, a wellness centre and a thermal water lake.
This golf resort was opened in 2015 and has been improving since then. Next year, investors would like to broaden the centre’s services out of approximately 232 million Euros.
This way, Zala Springs Golf Resort, which is already popular in Central Europe, would also become the biggest touristic investment project of 2019.
We have reported before that this investment includes the building of:
- A wellness centre and thermal water lake
- A five-star luxury hotel with 150 rooms
- 500 flats and mansions
- Shops and other service buildings (eg. playground, gym, etc.)
Zala Springs Golf Resort was built based on the idea of Robert Trent Jones Jr., who is a famous American golf course designer. It attracts numerous players from different European countries, including Hungary as well. Playing golf is also popular in Hungary.
For example, in the last few years, approximately 1000 Slovenian players visited the centre out of the estimated 6000 players.
